Hey Jerry, Arlene, and Kristin the first couple weeks of the 2006 season have without a doubt been the best the whole time I've been racing...thanks for all of the help, I couldn't do it without you guys, and of course the good and bad coffields...I'm looking forward to a great year and can't wait to see you guys at the track again. Take care, Keith.

Avonmore, PA USA - Wednesday, March 29, 2006

It's been almost 5 years since Aaron was taken from us and I'm only now able to make myself visit this website. It's great to see all the pictures of him and remember all the fun he and I had, and even though I never got involved in motocross, I kind of feel like I understand that part of his life better now. It meant a lot to him, but he rarely talked to me about any of it. I usually had to pry and ask when his next race was or how he did in his last one. The Aaron I remember was a fun loving prankster and practical joker. He was always smiling and always made you wonder what he was thinking. One of my favorite memories of him was a day in the high school cafeteria when he, Tim W. and myself were shooting peas and carrotts with our spoons across the lunchroom from our table. He hit the lunchroom supervisiing teacher, who was also one of our (Aaron and I) high school baseball coaches, in the side of the face with a carrott and it stuck to his face. The lunchroom got so quiet you could've heard a cricket. Usually, he was the instigator/perpetrator, I was the spotter and Tim generally got all the blame. Seems like it was just yesterday. - Zack Huffman

It's great to see more pictures of the women's class, and more recognition each year. I had to take a year off from racing and the only way I could keep up with the action is by viewing your site. What an awesome job you do! How on earth do you keep up??  I hope to get the opportunity to meet you at a race!  Keep up the great work! Lorrie #011

Glen Dale, WV USA - Saturday, September 04, 2004 at 11:42:34 (PDT)

Our family recently moved to this area and although we didn't know too many people here my husband had a few relatives in the area which helped to make some prosperous connections. One being lawn care service for a local cemetery. On one beautiful day in July I decided to stop by to see how the job was coming along. To the left side one monument stood out like no other. I became curious and walked over to it. On it was pictures of a young man and dates that made my heart sink. "So young, I can't imagine what it must feel like to be that that boys mother, to lose a child would be the hardest thing for anyone to ever have to go though." A tear ran down my cheek as I stood looking at the flowers and the eternal light that was burning. Not even knowing this young man or his family I could tell that he must have been someone very special. Then one day I entered the local High School to register my stepson for the school year. I met a very nice lady in the office and we began to talk. Finding out that we knew some of the same people and having a closer connection than either one of us would have thought. We had a pleasant conversation and trying to find some special interest for my stepson, Jacob, the topic of dirt bikes came into play. That's when I found out that this was the mother that my heart when out to just the month before. Tears welled up in both our eyes and then the topic of conversation was changed. "what a wonderful person she is," I thought," and now I have made a connection between the sad memorial and the faceless mother that saddened me so deeply". What I hadn't mentioned to her was that Jacob had lost his oldest brother in a tragic house fire the year before. Although I was very close to Jacobs big brother the affect has been very tramatic to him. My heart goes out to the the Lantzer family and I feel comforted to know that Jacob will have Aarons mother there to understand what he's feeling. And when she reads this I'm sure she will make the connection. This website is a great tribute to the memory of Aaron. I know this because we too have one in memory of Jeremy. And I'm sure we'll be visiting this sites often. Thank you, and the best to you and yours. Sherri, John and Jacob

Good pictures Mrs. Lantzer. I am a big fan of Aaron's. There are still people out here that miss Aaron as well. When Aaron raced and I saw it on T.V. it seemed like he took me right there to the race track. Now when ever I watch dirt bike races I always think of Aaron because he is my favorite dirt bike rider. I liked when he would go to New Freeport and talk to us and ride his bike for us and when we watched the movies of him racing. Too bad he wasn't here still, Aaron is better then anyone else out there.

Do you have to be in the AMA with a member's card in order to race at Mt. Morris and the surrounding areas? Thank you!!

Hi Arlene, it has been a long winter and even longer since we were at the races last. Sean severly broke his arm at FOD last Sept. He's better now and has been riding in the slop to try to get his speed/confidence up. I personally have mixed emotions, I love racing but, it is hard to see him get hurt like that. But it seems that riding and racing is everything to him and he wants to continue. I will, of course, support him as always. Hope to see you at the races again this year. You have been getting some great pictures of Sean. Thanks, we appreciate it.

Great site. This is the perfect way to memorialize, as well as inspire. I too have a marriage of love for this sport with the loss of a family member. I lost my brother Dave (#377) in Sept of 1987 in a motorcycle accident (street, not on the track). We raced together through the early and mid 80's at tracks such as Rocky Ridge, Honda Hills, Motodrome, High Point and Malvern. I have officially come out of my 18-year retirement and will be giving it a go in the Vet C class starting Sept 14 at High Point. I hope to meet you fine people one day. My thanks to Zachary Coffield and his grandpap, who led me to your site after meeting them at an R&D Raceway practice session. (Zach, I hope your "road rash" and leg are healing up ok after your spill there.... :) Take care, Chuck.

Great site. It shows the respect/caring everyone has for each other in the MX industry. Though I never talked/met Aaron I do remember him at the races because we raced the same class (B). I am so sorry for your loss!! Everytime I look at your site it makes me appreciate all the good things in life that we all take for granted. Through your site I met Henry (great guy) and he is now taking care of the web site for my mx park. Keep the good pic's, stories, etc. coming. I look forward to checking out your site from week to week for racing stories and pic's. Great Job! Rich/HVMXP

This tragedy has touched so many lives and brought so many people together that it is unbelievible. Quinn never got to practice but since he has been coming to the track he has gotten so much better! I think Aaron is giving him some good lessons! Maybe he should give Gregg some lessons on that turn!!!! (broken collarbone, 5 broken ribs, 3broken in 2 places!!!!) Thanks for the good times and we are looking forward to the times to come and the chats with Grace & Walt! Love Ya! Hope to see ya soon! The Stoners (Gregg & Anita, Stefanie #23 & Quinn #08.

I visit this site often. I think that it is great what you have put together for the fans of Aaron and for those who miss him very much. My boyfriend Nathaniel Kronk is a big MX person therefore I have been around this for quite some time now and I know how it feels to be scared and worried now I have no idea of the pain this has caused you , I do know what it is like to lose a loved one but not a Son. I do however know how it is to be scared when someone goes out on the track , how scary it is when they come out of the hole and come around that first turn and that is not a very great feeling so I can only imagine your pain of losing someone to the sport of which he loved. I wish you the best in all further things and I am very sorry for your loss. I do hope that you continue to keep this site up I enjoy very much coming and looking at the pictures and using some of them as well :) Thank you so much for what you have done!!! Much Love Very Sincerely Devon Garrett

Jerry, Arlene, and Kristin what can I say. Other than it's been a honor to be able to share all of my bad luck and triumphs of the past seasons with you. Last year when I received the award from you guys it was a relief to know that sombody saw all of the problems that I was having. After awhile you start thinking to yourself that all of this badluck is happening b.c you are making it. Even though my parents were behind me and saying, "Hey, it was an OK year you just got hurt". Your award really shed new light and hope on this season. Spending this season with the new pit crew that we have was just great it made the worst days the best and the best days even sweeter to have your friends there that have been behind you win or lose. From Troy, Ohio to Lostcreek, WV and even to Flordia this year it has been a pleasure to know you guys. The pictures that you give me every week have been nothing short of amazing. How do you find the time to give so much back to the sport that Aaron and all of us love soo much? Thank you for everything that you have done this year, Margo, Larry and Danny.

So sorry that we never got to meet your son. I don't know how you do what you do,but it is a wonderful thing. You asked Mrs. McAdoo yesterday what "this rider looked like", and she replied that he was standing right there. Davie was so surprised by the pictures (pleasantly surprised!!). They are wonderful! We have never met, and yet you seem to know my son so well. You've captured what he loves to do so well. I would like to meet you and personally thank you. Davie has mentioned several times that people that he doesn't even know, have stopped him and complimented him on his riding style and racing. Now, I think I know who the "one Lady" is. You have given him support when he has needed it this year. He has been plagued by several injuries this year and a lot of bad luck. He missed the 1st half of the season and hasn't been back to true form yet. He's really needed the support, I thank you very much!
