~ KIRK HINES IN CRITICAL CONDITION AT UPMC PITTSBURGH - OH MY GOD. I hate this... Kirk was injured in a car crash in Butler County. He and another boy are in critical condition and need your thoughts and prayers this morning. Thurs - 6:30 AM
Friday and Kirk is in need of all of our thoughts and prayers. Please say one for him and the other young man that was hurt. Prayers are also needed to the families that lost their loved ones. Such a heart ache that never goes away. Please keep all of these families in your prayers.

Oh how I hate to leave a track at the end of the season. It's like saying goodbye to a good friend. To stand at the top of the gate area and look over such a beautiful track area. Then have the most awesome riders pass in front doing what they do best, takes my breath away. The day started with Keiths greeting at the gate and then it seemed in a very short time we were heading out, saying our goodbyes. But the day was FULL of great racing and some extra activities that are normally not apart of a day at the track. Activities that can and does hurt some very nice people.
Joey DeNeen in a very fast pace race with J. Balkovic took a fall and I hear that he may have broken his wrist. Oh how I am going to miss you Joey. (update from Brittany DeNeen said that Joey has a hairline fracture and is stiff and sore ) Your talent and smile is at the top of my list of great races that I have seen you have each Sunday. Get well soon. Chalmers Helman # 556 took a very bad spill down at the end of the table tops. An update from Denise, Chalmers mom said that Chalmers has a concusion and a broken wrist. They are hoping to be at PVR doing some spectating. Hope you are feeling better Chalmers.
Great race between Mauk and Toth right to the checkers. I really don't know how the ladies called who got first. They were side by side and the tires were right on even. What a great race riders. Davey Yezek and Jimmy Evans had another awesome race with each other. So good to see these great riders going at it again. Good to see Mark Mills back racing after his injuries looking good.
As always we here have some of the best talented riders that we get to watch from one Sunday to the next. Most of us have watched these riders grow and move from one class to another. Cheering them on and wishing them the best in what they do. Watching these riders show respect with the others in their class makes this sport one of the best that I have seen. Also the respect that we the spectators have for each and every rider out on the track, from the 50's right up thru the Vet classes. May this stay with all of us in this awesome group of riders and families.

My friend Lisa who is either scoring all of you riders or she is out on the track watching all of you very carefully waving the yellow flag. Well Lisa has an awesome talent. I want to share her talent here with this picture of what she made for us. It is absolutely beautiful. What a beautiful plaque with my Aaron's name and number on it. So perfectly made. Thank you Lisa for your friendship and kindness, I will cherish it.
