~ R & D RND 7 PAMX STATES ~
Very cool and cloudy day at R&D. The week prior to todays race brought rain and that of course brings very soft mud. The track had no trouble with dust today but the ruts were deep for all classes. The 50's and 65's struggled and at times had the little riders down most everywhere. Unfortunately there were too many bad injuries. Chris Musguire #99 was life flighted out with major leg injuries. (we will update when we hear word). Brian Shuckhart had a terrible crash in his 250A moto 1. I didn't see the crash but Kristin said it was one of the worse ones that she has seen in a long time. Brian is sore and doing okay. He bruised his backside and elbow. Nick Fratz Orr took a bad tummble down into the briers and weeds, but returned to his pits on his own. It just wasn't a pretty day in most classes. Just way too many crashes and injuries. We hope that all are doing well and best wishes for quick recoveries.
The darkness of the day played havoc with the camera as well. Some good and some blurry, but as always with the talent that was there you guys always come thru looking AWESOME! So with the late hour again here are a few to get the week started.
