~ Loretta Lynn's 2009 Day 1 - Practice ~
It's Loretta Lynn time. Heat, humidity, bikes, riders, golf carts, generators, water, practice and beginning tomorrow some down right awesome racing. Monday is a day of practice, which means extreme not normal race conditions for most of the riders at LL. HUMIDITY, and lots of it. Watched some of the practices but took it easy getting prepared for Tuesdays racing. Dee drove us around in her gold cart and found some of our local riders, but most are spread out over a very large area. I will try between motos to find all of their pit areas and catch a few shots of their home away from home for this week. It rained on Saturday and made it very soft and mushy and slippery to get around.
I am putting up afew pictures that I took today just to give you an idea of the place and of course the people. Tomorrow starts with Ray Niebel at 7:30 AM and keeps rolling right thru a very fast pace of motos. It is going to be very warm tomorow so that will take a toll on some of the riders. We will get some of the action up tomorrow evening... Have a great day!
