~ PLEASURE VALLEY RDN 6 - SPRING SERIES ~
From November to March we seem to handle the winter weather and the early cold days in March. We have paid our dues and when April and especially May comes around our patience is gone for cold, rainy and windy weather . We can handle the boots, sweat shirts and gloves during those first few races but not in May. It was sunny but cool and windy at High Point last week and this week here at PVR it was cloudy, cool and windy. Will warmth ever come to the Spring series, we hope so. Yes I am very pleased that it wasn't raining, that came in buckets yesterday. I must say that the track was in pretty good shape after all of the moisture. It was even getting dusty over next to the woods at the table top. So another cold day but the racing was hot.
The rain yesterday and a LL qualifier at Crow Canyon had the classes much smaller than last week at High Point. But again the quality of riders that were there did not diminish. Seventeen motos and they went by quickly and we were headed home around 4 o'clock. It may have been cold but it was a good day at PVR. Our new stickers arrived Friday and we handed them out today. If you did not get one look us up, the three of us generally have them on us.
Kristin and I will get busy with the pictures of today and hopefully finish up the motos that we did not get to from High Point. Have a great week everyone, again you riders are awesome…
