~ STEEL CITY - EASTER SPRING ~

~TYLER LUFT INJURED @ TOMAHAWK - PLEASE KEEP TYLER AND FAMILY IN YOUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS~

Just got word from Zack Himler that #50, Tyler Luft was injured in practice at Tomahawk earlier today (4/17). Tyler sustained a broken back, fractured vertebrae in neck, severe concussion and bruised lung. There will be more tests ran tomorrow to know his injuries more accurately. I will keep the site updated as soon as I get the information on his prognosis.

We wish nothing but the best for Tyler and hope he has a safe recovery!

Update on John from Colleen.... John is home, he came home on Wednesday and is doing well. Colleen says that John has a lot of recovery ahead of him but his spirits are up.. John is looking forward to coming to PVR this weekend to see everybody. It will be great to the Wells at the track. Get well soon John.

SPRING EASTER RACE AT STEEL CITY.... OF COURSE!
~ Spring brings all manner of weather and today was no exception. We have had rain, mud and yes even snow at Steel City. This day started out with rain, clouds, eventually sun and WIND! The wind was incredible, the flags were straight out and hoodies were the covering of the day. But a great time was had. Smaller classes than last week at Roaring Knob but that did not take away from the talented racing. It was good to see Billy Ursic and Joey Zambotti in the mix today, also Broc Streit's little brother Brogan Streit started his racing debut in the 50cc class 3. Totally awesome to see the #171 on Brogan's bike.....(plus I spotted a Aaron sticker on his helmet.... thank you Brogan) A few injuries today, Jonathan Wells #477 had a spill and left for treatment. We will get an update on Jonathan and relay it on.

A good day with many wonderful prople. I want to thank everyone for checking out the pictures last week of Roaring Knob. It was a busy week here getting them up for you. As of Friday night you all had looked at nearly 33,000 pictures of the Roaring Knob Galleries. WOW totally awesome. Thanks for taking the time to check them all out. Kris and I will be busy again getting todays pictures up, that means we will be racing all week.... I love it! Have a great Easter and up coming week.
