~ RIDERS MOVEN ON UP in 2009 - NUMBER COLLAGE ~
~ WAY TO GO DARRYN DURHAM 4TH AT LITES JACKSONVILLE ~
As we move toward the opening of the racing season we see the new bikes and gear BUT generally the riders number stays the same. If there is anyone person plus a couple of others that numbers are their companions thru out the racing season it would be Mary Yezek. One of her favorite number is #99, it belongs to a very dear person. Mary and I have been talking about numbers lately and how they are the rider and how they identify what they do (back ground color). We find when seeing a bike in the back of a truck the first thing that we look for is the number..... that brings up the name of the rider. If when traveling you see a road sign it will bring up a rider for sure. Looking at a clock for the time, reading the temperature, food prices just to name a few brings up you the rider. Mary inspired me today with this thought of numbers. So I called Kristin from work and said what do you think about a collage of pictures with just numbers. Sounded good to Kristin and she went to work to put this collage together. Not real hard BUT hard enough. Had trouble getting some numbers that would fit but came up with these 36 picture numbers. We love these numbers.
Thank you Mary for the inspiration and thank you Kristin for getting this group together. I'm sure that at the end of any Sunday's program Mary goes home and dreams of many numbers. It's great what you ladies do.

~ Spring is here and racing is going to start very soon. With the beginning of the season comes the new bikes, new colors, new gear and of course the new class. Many of our riders have moved up from 85's to B Class, C Riders moving on to the B Class and the most sought after move from B to A. I have put together a few pictures of the "moven up riders." I'm sure that I don't have them all but this is a start.
