CONGRATULATIONS DARRYN DURHAM - 1ST SX HOUSTON - 8TH IN THE MAIN. TOTALLY AWESONE!

I want to share this picture with you all. In the past 7 years since Aaron left us there has been rainbows pop up at times needed, a friendly visit from one of Aaron's friends, a # 98 sticker on a fellow riders bike, a birthday card sent in memory of Aaron, a wonderful MX jersey with many names on it, a photo of Aaron that I have never seen, a story of Aaron that I did not know about, a nickle found in the handle bars of one of his old bikes, a large paper mache daisy made in art class and afew other beautiful happenings. All these things bring on many different emotions. But with the sweet overwhelming feeling comes the pain of loss. BUT again it is our Aaron. Last night I had to take tickets at our High School wrestling match, always eager to be there. My dear friend Bill, the Athletic Director, was very anxious to give me something that he knew was going to overwhelm me. The art teacher at the MS/HS had been cleaning up in the art room and was getting rid of some old materials. When coming onto this picture it caught her eye which went from the color to the artists name. This teacher was not Aaron's teacher but somehow knew it was too be saved. Overwhelmed is an understatement, just seeing Aaron's hand written name sends me into him. This picture was done in his junior year or his senior year which was 19"98" . Just sitting there waiting to be found. What a wonderful gift! We love you Aaron.

Jerry has been cleaning and sorting some old MX magazines that he and Aaron looked at thru and thru back in the early days of our new experiences of MX. Jerry found this one of HP back in 1991. WOW it is so cool. Just wanted to share...... Looks like it was very hot that day. Mike LaRocco won his forth overall that day.
