~ STEEL CITY ~
Steel City - rain - and mud I didn't miss today but I truly missed all of you. Jerry and Kris where my eyes today and they filled me in about your day. Thank you for asking about me...
My day has been a stressful one. Going with my Mother (88) and Older Daughter to see my Dad in a rest home took a toll on us all. Eye contact was made with him for all three of us. Left knowing that he had seen us. After returning home the call came that my Dad had passed away. Mom is doing as well as can be, and I did alittle jig knowing that my Dad was with Aaron. Aaron sent us a message that Pap was there and doing well........ for we had a beautiful rainbow just out over the cemetery where Aaron is and Dad will soon be layed beside him.

The anticipation of being at High Point for the Nationals starts in the early spring and comes to a wonderful and exhausting end late Sunday evening. This year with the delay from Memorial Day to Fathers Day had us feeling like we had missed out on something, but it all came around. Sitting and waiting in line all day Thursday gave us time to relax and meet new friends and remember many of our old friends that were not in line with us. I love High Point, just being there is a major high for me. The Nationals are special but the High Point that I love is the days that are spent watching amateur racing. With the awesome changes at "The Point" we again are anticipating our next trip to HP.
We were unable to make the trip to Dublin Gap for Sundays racing but will be back at it this coming Sunday at Steel City. I have been wanting to change this front page with something fresh and with no Gap pictures I have decided to put up a slide show of 2 awesome racers from a past PVR race in April. After that particular race I did put up a few shots of their 2 motos but this slide show has all of their shots together in both +25 motos. Jimmy Evans & Ashley Woskob had quite a battle that day in the +25 class. I just had to make a slide show for myself just with them with the Doobie Brothers singing "Dangerous" while watching them (awesome). I can put the slide show on but I can't seem to attach the music but the pictures tell it all.
