~ Loretta Lynn's & PVR Pics ~
Shoulder surgery done and I'm trying to feel better....... Struggling for sure..... Kris took off this morning with Taylor Barnhart, Lorrie Miller and Mimi Greiner for Loretta Lynns. They left at 5:00. We are so pleased that she got a ride down. Kendra was unable to go and with this surgery I could not get her there. Thank you so very much Taylor, Lorrir and Mimi. Safe trip to all our riders and families.
As soon as I get to feeling better I will work on more pictures....
Our best wishes and thoughts go out to Zach. In the 2nd Moto of the MX A class Zach was coming off the tunnel jump where he went down very hard. Zach was taken to the hospital and the word that we received last night was that he had a severe concussion and was being kept at the hospital over night on precaution.
Carol just texed Kristin and Zach is home with bruises and the concussion but doing okay.
Other injuries to riders yesterday that I know of was to Kodie Claypoole with a collar bone break and an injury to Chris Williams in practice. Mimi Greiner was riding with some major pain with her ankle and Chuck Coulson took a nasty spill in that last Vet C moto. This is the unfortunate part of what we all do. Our thoughts and get well wishes to these riders as well.
The first States race took a good full and long day. We got home at 10:30 last night and I was totally exhausted. (A long with all of you) I started to down load the pictures but didn't have the energy to post. Early this morning I finished the down loads and again was totally amazed with you riders. I go from one picture to the next and see again the quality of riding that you all do. What an amazing group of riders we have here in District 5..... I totally got lost in which pictures to put up on the blogs, there were so many. So I decided to put up the starts on as many of the 1st Moto's that I was able to get. They are on Current Entries... Kris and I will be hitting the many others to get them up ASAP before Wednesday. I have my shoulder surgery that day and will put a hold on albums for that day. But there are lots to look at so stay tuned... As always you riders make the pictures and all of that incredible action...
Kristin has some "People Pictures" on her blog as well.
