Aaron W. Lantzer
West Greene Graduate was motocross rider.

Aaron W. Lantzer, 20, of Graysville PA, died Sunday, March 11, 2001, in Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh, from injuries received in an automobile accident.

He was born May 2, 1980, in Grants Pass, Ore., a son of Jerry Dean and Arlene Frances Teagarden Lantzer of Graysville.

Mr. Lantzer was Protestant.

He was a 1998 graduate of West Greene High School and had formerly attended Waynesburg College with an interest in criminal justice.

Mr. Lantzer was employed as a cab.commaker with his father at Lantzer Cab.coms and as a customer service representative with OSI at Southpointe, Canonsburg.

He was an avid motocross rider and a member of the American Motorcyclist Association. He was an active member of District-5 motocross, where this past season he placed ninth in the PA State Championships in the 125B class. He was recently selected as a member of Tracy's World of Cycles Racing Team in Moon Township for the upcoming season.

His fiance', Mindy McCracken, is from Graysville R.D. 1.

Surviving, in addition to his parents, are two sisters, Jennifer and Kristin Lantzer, both at home; maternal grandparents, Walter and Grace Moore Teagarden of West Finley R.D. 2; and paternal grandfather, Harry Lantzer of Grants Pass, Ore.

His paternal grandmother, Margaret Myer Lantzer Donoho, is deceased.
