"ALWAYS LOOKING" - For Aaron
This picture of Aaron was taken at Brownsville's track when Aaron was still in the C Class. He was getting ready to go down for his moto. I have always wondered what he was thinking, deep in thought on what he needed to do. It wasn't good for Aaron to ponder too long on any tough situation that would come up, his nerves would get the best of him.
Since Aaron left 12 years ago I have been looking - always looking for some resemblance of Aaron in others. Just need that quick feeling of seeing his face. It's hard to explain the feeling of always looking for him. He is away and should be returning at any time, but not to be. Always looking.
How have we done over the last 12 years without Aaron? Has time healed all wounds? NO! Have we continued? YES! Does it still hurt as much as when he left? YES!
Time brings on different pains, Aaron not being a part of our everyday lives. I work at our local Elementary School. The young ones coming in our children of Aaron's classmates. No grandchildren from Aaron. Watching Jerry struggle with things around the house that I know Aaron would be helping with if he were here. The pain of loss is always there just shifts to other things.
March 11, 2001, Aaron was taken from us when a drunk driver hit him head on. Aaron died 5 hours later from injuries. Jerry and I did not get to say good bye to our nearly 21 year old son. Changed our lives forever. Do I miss Aaron? Many times a day. Even after 12 years I am still "Always Looking". I so much want him to come home!

* WINTER, COLD TEMPS AND SNOW* JANUARY 27, 2013
Sure makes one wish for Spring. But not yet. So we have Supercross on Saturday night.... well not the past two events but coming back soon. Not a fan of having to wait till Sunday, (and after I have wathed it on line following the lap times and positions of my favorite riders) already know the outcome of the race. Yes I still get excited watching it on my computer, watching who is in front and who is falling back in positions, wondering WHAT HAS HAPPENED??? It's like putting it all together in my head, like making up a dream. HAHA Anyway still enjoy watching it on Sunday and really like watching Arenacross with Michael Mcdade going at it each week. He is really riding well. Strong and smart. Go get em Michael. He also has Willard, Bowers, Browning and some others from around this area racing with him. AWESOME!
My site here is slow with the winter season. I have been trying to get some races up from this past season for your viewing. Lots to do there. I also have a full blown Facebook page that you may want to check in on. It is quicker to get short things up like Birthdays, pictures that I throw up on a whim and just a quicker connection with all of you. SO.... go and like my page - Lantzermx98.com and connect with some picture albums from the past and the present. Good watching for a slow winter night.

~ BEST WISHES TO EVERYONE FOR A PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR ~
I have to apologize here to all about not getting some new things up here on Aaron's site. I do have a new album up on pBase of the +25 & Collegeboy class at Steel City Oct 14, 2012. So that is a beginning of many other classes of this past year that I need to get up. I have been busy on my FaceBook page with some older pictures of past races and riders. When I do a search of riders for their birthday I find my self overwhelmed with the past of many of you riders. That gets me going with the old pictures. I do promise here that I will concentrate on this past year along with some of the older ones.
My New Year has had a rough start with the passing of my wonderful Mother, Grace. Mom was 92 and has been a big part of my life especially these past 5-6 years. She has been in a care home for medical needs. My 2 girls, Jennifer and Kristin and my self have been on a loving quest in trying to keep her daily life as normal as we could make it. Mom was everything that her name implies. This wasn't what any of us would have planned but she had grace thru out these years and left us with grace as well. I would not trade these days with her and all of the wonderful memories that she had of her life for anything. The Christmas Holiday started out with me getting the flu and my precious Mother left us early January 2. I do know one thing for sure, she has been received with many loved ones that have gone on and I know that my Aaron was right there greeting her home.

Okay, just wanted to give you all an update and I'll be getting more up. Please check out my facebook page, I think you will like some of the older pictures. Don't hesitate to request a race that I haven't put up over the year. I'll check it out and get up what I may have. I did have some requests about older races but I didn't take photo's of races before 2001. When Aaron was racing I took video pictures up thru 2000. Jerry did however take some with our Minolta 35mm camera. Most where of Aaron. Then in 2001 I started using that same camera after Aaron passed to be closer to what he loved. So photos where the thing up until I got my first digital 03-04. I have picture albums of snapshots for those early years before the digital and I scan them to bring them to you. Not quite the many shots but a good group of some major riders from that time period.

A NEW YEAR COMING AND 2012 ON IT'S WAY OUT!
I will have to say at this time my last 9 days of 2012 have been rough ones. I have been sick since the 22nd with the FLU! Haven't had the flu in atleast 15 years. And this one is a doozie! Each day some normal parts show up but having trouble getting back completely. At this time it looks like everyday of my vacation will be in trying to get ready for school on Jan 2.
I want to post a few pictures of Aaron back in the day down at his track. This picture has so many wonderful things about it. The best is of Aaron of course, the second point is that it is on his beautiful practice track that he loved so very much. His Grandfather gave him permission after afew years to make a track and it was used for many years after Aaron left us. The other point is all of that beauty is gone, all the hills that you see have been totally damaged by the Bailey Mine of Consol. A dumping ground has been made for slug or what ever you call it. Aaron is gone, track is gone and the beauty that we were so fortunate to have is gone. Only ugliness is there.. Thank goodness for those times and the beauty that was there. My fellow worker and friend at school gave me a wonderful and precious drawing of those wonderful times in a gift. Michelle has a friend from school that does designs and did a drawing in pencil only of that wonderful picture. I will cherish it along with all of those wonderful and beautiful memories. THANK YOU MICHELLE!

NEW YEARS EVE IS UPON US FOLKS - Lots of great times with families and friends! Parties, good food and drink. PLEASE dear ones, don't DRINK AND DRIVE. Have a great time but have a designated driver to take to home safely. I don't want any of you to be missing a loved one in the future like we have for the past 11 years, because of a shelfish drunk behind a wheel. Looking forward in seeing all of you again this up and coming season.
MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE - MAY YOU ALL HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY
FANTASTIC BANQUET in Johnstown last night. Lori Slusser & Company again put together a wonderful time for all. She even had connections with the weather man and no snow/ice to contend with. The place was packed with few chairs to be found. Lots of great awards to the riders for their individual accomplishments thru out the year. The chinese auction had great items that all where anxious to win. Door prizes thru out the evening along with the 50/50 boards that gave some winners a few extra bucks for Christmas. 4 Aces did a great job for the dinner menu and all had plenty to eat. But the best part of the evening was again being with our MX Family. It's only been a month and a few weeks that we had our last season race at PRP. Very much missing everyone. SO this was a good shot in the arm to help all thru the winter months.
