~ HAPPY EASTER TO EVERYONE ~
Loved going to Steel City for the Easter Race over the past years. Always a great way to start the racing season. This picture is of a T-Shirt of Aaron's with the Bunny on it. April 22, 2000. It was well worn. So just wanted to share and maybe bring a smile to all.
~ RAY NIEBELS MUD BABIES - EASTER CELEBRATION ~
Not sure if most of you know what Ray Niebel does with the nice moist mud that he takes off his bike after a moto or two. Well he makes the great creations. At a couple of races these two were made and I asked him if I could take them home with me. Well they have been here with me for at least the past 3-4 years. Going thru rough weather and a few dress ups. (I'll have to shared those pictures). Yes another winter has passed and the smaller one is showing some facial parts falling off. But along with Snoopy and Garfield they are looking pretty good. Happy Easter everyone!!!!
~ HAPPY BIRTHDAY KRISTIN - APRIL 9, 2014 ~

~ AARON - OH HOW I LOVE THE SOUND OF HIS NAME ~
MARCH 10, 2014
I generally find myself this time of the year watching the days. PIAA wresting has completed at Hershey and the anniversary of Aaron’s death is upon us. Another year of missing our son and brother, missing what he would be if he were here.
Thirteen years Aaron has been gone. Time has moved on but then again it has stood still. He is still nearly 21 years old and will always be young. I still find myself wishing and wanting him to come home. Aaron we need you, your sisters need you and your Dad needs you. I also know that you would be right here with your sisters helping with the up and coming health issues that your Dad is having. We all feel so cheated in not having you in our lives. Aaron we were so blessed with so many wonderful memories of you. Thank goodness for those, we draw on them daily. You may not be here physically but you are still here in our daily lives.
LOSS OF AARON
Aaron was so looking forward to life and was taken from us by a drunk driver who had been drinking most of the day. Got behind the wheel of a truck and at a high rate of speed hit Aaron and his girlfriend head on around 11:30 PM March 10, 2001. They were coming home from dinner with friends at the Texas Roadhouse in Morgantown. He had the opportunity to stay at his friend’s house and play video games but chose to go home. His Dad was there, Kristin and I were in Hershey at the PIAA State Wrestling Championships. Jerry was called to Pittsburgh and Mercy Hospital about Aaron being injured. He went up and the Doctor said that he could see Aaron soon but they were fixing a broken leg. So Jerry was patient in waiting, even though he wanted to get to him as soon as possible. The Doctor then came out and said that they had lost Aaron. The main artery to Aaron’s heart had hemorrhaged and he was gone. Jerry called our dear friends Doug, David and CJ Coffield to come and get him. Kristin and I pulled into our home that Sunday morning and was told by my oldest daughter Jennifer that Aaron was in a car accident and did not make it. They felt that was the best not to tell us till we got home. So they were already in the night mare and Kris and I were driving toward it. LIFE CHANGING!
We have had the most awesome support from so many wonderful people. Our Family unit is the strong links that hold us together along with the MX Family and community friends. Thank all of you for staying with us thru this journey; it would be so very hard without all of you. Aaron is with us all.
