PRACTICE AND FRIENDS

MONDAY - PRACTICE
What a great day out at the ranch. Day started out with great expectations from the riders, famlies and spectators. Classes rolled off right on time. Many have returned for another time on the track and others their first time. The track looks great not too much visible damage form the spring flood. The area around the track seems to have some new sand and I believe that new sand is also out on the track. Jerry and I found our very freindly Pro Action pit area which also is the home of Jimmy & Homer Evans. Big smiles coming from the Evans van...He's looking good as always. Loretta's is a very busy place, bikes, carts, more bikes and lots more golf carts are everywhere. The heat didn't seem to be too bad today. But its Loretta's and it will come. Lots of water being drank for sure. I have a few pictures of the day, not too many but can give you folks at home a glimpse of the park. Met new people today, a young 50's rider names Bryton Carroll in the 7-8 50 class. He's from New Jersey and very anxous to ride. What a wonderful sport that we are in.. Great people! Most of the rider are doing well, however I heard that 3 of our younger riders had some bad experiences down at the creek. (not on the track) Not sure of it all, and they are doing well and are still riding, but one was bit by a snake.... one got his toe caught on a root while jumping in the creek and the other had stitches on his chin.... not sure what happened there. But they are oaky.....more info maybe tomorrow... Okay I'm tired and need sleep. First moto is at 7:30 ... so heres a few pics:
