~ Jerry took a trip out to Holberts Tires in Mt Morris last week. Of course how can one be in the back yard of High Point and not take some pictures. High Point is looking awesome. Just resting and waiting till that first race in the spring. I'm anxious to be standing down near the gates that are loaded and ready to go. Closest place to Heaven!

I have been busy moving files off my old computer to the new. In doing this I stumbled onto a gallery of PVR pictures of 2007 that I don't believe that I put up. In looking at them it was such a nice trip back. Great to see Reed Chapman, Alexander Woskob, Dave Plavi, Roy Holt and DJ Ament. Great racing and great riders. PARTS UNLIMITED PLASTIC TABLE CLOTHS - If you have been to Mini O's over Thanksgiving and participated in the dinner, your plate would have sat on one of these. After the meal all is taken off and thrown away. Jerry and I the last time we were at Mini O's picked up afew discarded covers. We have had such an awesome time with them. We had one at Loretta Lynn's afew years ago and take one to Steel City and High Point Nationals. We throw out some permanent markers and invite any and all that pass thru our pits. Some great names have laided their signatures and artistry down on these plastic covers. This year we also took our last one to the PAMX Banquet and had many sign their names. Looks pretty good. A couple signatures went over board and marked thru others names and I'm sorry about that. Thank you all for signing this years cover. ~ CHRISTMAS TIME ~ This time of year brings a flood of thoughts, memories and feelings. It's hard for me to dig too deep into any one of those. I can however thank all of you for your kindness and support. What a wonderful gift we received this week in the mail.. From a wonderful Lady. Her kindness and talent are much the same. Thank you Lisa for the beautiful lovingly made ornament for our tree. So very beautiful.. The ornament was packaged with much care. Wrapped in a towel with this outstanding message. What a wonderful night at the PAMX Night of Champion Banquet in Johnstown. So many wonderful people. The day started with great weather. Many of us have taken the trip for the banquet in snow, ice and very cold temperatures. Not this weekend, it was good enough that were all wishing that we where racing at PVR. Jerry and I did pull in at PVR just to look at it sleeping. All of our tracks look so lonely with no one around them. The banquet room looked beautiful. Lori Slusser and the many envolved had it all ready to go. Very nice T-Shirts, fantastic trophies and lots and lots of great prizes. If you didn't make it to the banquet you really missed a great time... and we missed you as well. Lots of champions from the Spring and State Championship Series. I will not be able to put all of them on our two blogs. That's not a problem for all of the champions will be put in my galleries. I do have some to post at this time to get started. Some on my blog and some on Kristin's. Again the banquet was awesome. Thank you Jeff Cernic, Lori Slusser, Doc Holliday and so many others that put the banquet together. Scott, Luke and Buddy you guys are the very best. You bring such a personnal touch to all of the riders. Let me tell you about the trophy girls. They are the best around. I can't even imagine how they handled all of the wonderful smiles, getting the right trophy and those high heels. You are wonderful.

~ HAPPY THANKSGIVING ~ NOVEMBER 25, 2011 I hope all had a great Turkey Day with friends and family. Yes it was good, but I was caught between liking being home and missing the warm and fantastic racing down in Gainesville. I would head out in the AM to my favorite spot on the MX track wating for the riders to pass by. So exciting. But wasn't to be this year. I coulod still feel it though. I have been following the moto's when I can and our riders seem to be right in on some of the moto's. With all of that being said, I have put a couple of galleries together of our last race at PVR. These galleries are of Saturdays racing. Just the starts....
~ PLEASURE VALLEY ~ Awesome weekend at Pleasure Valley. It's hard knowing that the racing will end for winter setting in. I want to take in every aspect of the days. The riders, practice, registration, smell of the dirt and the fantastic smell of fuel. I love it when the 2 strokes take off and the aroma of that sweet smell lingers in the air. Then there is staging where the riders meet anticipating their moto. Of course the actual moto's. This weekend had some of the best racing between some of the best in each class. AWESOME.
SO much to say but I need to get pictures up! Most of these will be of SUndays race. I have lots of Saturday as well. But I need to keep them seperate. Plus there was SUN on SUnday!

McDade was on the gas when passing Woskob, with his sites on Slusser. Staying tight thru out the next laps, McDade made his move and took over 1st. Great racing between these 3 riders. 250 B M2- What can I say with the top two riders in this class.... AWESOME - Michaels and Kantner going at it all 4-5 laps. PLEASURE VALLEY PAMX FLY RACING/MDRA SHOOT OUT..... Awesome weekend at PVR. It was cool for sure on Saturday and the classes were down. BUT! the racing was fantastic. Slusser and Mcdade with every moto exciting. So good to see Broc Streit back from his shoulder enjury. Crosby and Esper, totally WOW.... they have to be the hottest duo of racers at this time. Do not miss these two very talented riders race. Michaels and Kantner.... oh yes the racing was excelent in the B classes as well. Carsten and Evans with Nieble thrown in the mix....well it just goes on and on. I have to stop for I have many, many pictures to get up. Here's a couple for now. PITTSBURGH RACEWAY PARK
My first trip to PRP yesterday was awesome. I do hope that it won't be my last. I was totally impressed with the facility and the track well , my Aaron would have loved it. I felt like I was in a candy store. Just didn't know where to go to shoot first. The track has so many wonderful areas. Easy to get around Big, did I mention BIG? Well it is! The track has every area that a rider would drool over to ride on. Spectator friendly with the view. Yes it is spread out and a distance but one can keep up with the rider. Dee Shuckhart would have loved the ruts that shot the bigger bikes right out of them. I got on the track first moto and didn't leave until 9 motos in of the 20 of the second motos. Just so many places to go and I didn't want to miss any of them. Dennis and wife, thank you for your hospility. So love your track!

Matt Update - October 9, Hey Arlene, Matt continues improving everyday. He's got both of his eyes open. For a few hours everyday, they have him sitting up in a chair. He's been very alert the past few days. Lots of movement from his right side, a little from his left, and lots of smiles. Whenever we tell him a story, he gets a HUGE smile on his face. He's got a big day in front of him tomorrow. They're replacing his trach with a smaller one, and hopefully, he'll be able to talk. They're also talking about moving him out of the ICU and placing him in a step-down unit sometime this week. Thanks again, Brock Great news Matt.
~ MATT UPDATE - September 30 Huge news for Matt today. His left eye has been half-opened all day, and he's been looking around his room. The doctors said he can see us, he can definitely hear us, smell, etc. They've taken him off pain meds, but he's still very sedated. He's doing a lot of breathing on his own, and they're talking about possibly taking him off the breathing machine sometime within the next week. The swelling in his eyes and face have gone down tremendously, and he's really starting to look like Matt again. Thanks again, Brock
~ MATT BELL UPDATE FROM BROC ~ WEDNESDAY, 9:00 PM Today was another good day. He's still responding, moving his right arm, bending his knee, wiggling his toes. They let up on his sedation a little bit, and he kept moving his arm up to his chest. They have him restrained so that he can't pull on tubes or anything, and when he couldn't move his right arm any farther, he twitched his left arm a little. They still haven't given us a time frame for recovery, but we're staying very optimistic.

~ SEPTEMBER 25, 2011 ~ This is Brock Bell. My brother, Matt, was in a serious car accident last night and needs everybody's prayers. He was the only one in the vehicle, and no one else was involved. He tore both carotid arteries and suffered a stroke on the right side of his brain this morning. He has a lot of brain swelling and has undergone two surgeries already today to help control this. It'd be appreciated if you would please keep him in your prayers. Thank you, Brock

~ HIGH POINT PAMX ~ Last race at High Point is ALWAYS an emotional time for me. I love being at "The Point" and this year there wasn't as many races there as I would like. We pulled in on Friday night just to be there before the evenets of the wewekend. Vet Nationals on Saturday one of my favoritew times there. The track was quiet and ready for the nextdays event. Totally beautiful and COLD. WOW was it ever cold. I thought I was prepared for the colder weather but that night in the trailer was one of the coldest I can remember sleeping in it. The great campfire just didn't get my body warm enought before turing in. But I survived and Saturday night wasn't as cold and much better. I am going to put up some Sundays photo's firt and will be adding many Vet Nationals pictures as the week goes along. Lots to put up and so little time with other obligations. So please be patient. As always you the riders are awesome and you Vets what a pleasure watching all of you ride.

The carving of the start area for water run off the discs taking out the well made ruts from off the gate. Sitting watching this was beautiful and yet so sad. The race between Dungey and Villopoto was a full 30 minutes of that first moto. I can't imagine what Dungey had to feel like going nearly 60 yards from the checkers and then the mistake happened. The quickest high to the deepth of frustration. Hats off to both of these incredible riders. The pictures of "The Pass" was taken across the track on the amateur side, but one can still feel the excitement of that moment. I just had the message from Lorrie Miller about Reeds crash yesterday at Steel City amateur day. I hope that all is well and Reed will have a full recovery. We left alittle early from exhaustion and did not get the second motos. My facebook account has been encrypted for a week and I am having trouble getting it unlocked (I'm not much of a computer whiz). I do however get any messages that are posted on there to me. ~ SUNDAY, AUGUST, 28, 2011 ~ ~GREAT UPDATE ON SHAYNE THOMAS~ Hello, Hope you are doing well. I have wonderful news to spread! Shayne has been off the ventilator for almost a week now, and has moved facilities. He is currently in HealthSouth Harmarville, which is a spinal cord rehabilitation unit near Fox Chapel, PA. He has been there for four days now, in room 104. He would love to see visitors- visiting hours 10:30 am to 8:30 pm. They do physical and occupational therapy for many hours a day with him, and he will be having his trach removed tomorrow. If anyone would like to speak with him, we are doing webcams for people because it really keeps his spirits up! Also, if anyone would like to send a card or a little gift, he could use t-shirts, because he is being dressed every morning. Awesome Saturday & Sunday Kristin and Bryan were down for a visit. Steaks and ribs on the BBQ with them, Jennifer and Pat. Great time. Kristin also got me up todate on Broc Streit and Mitch Lehman. First of all Broc, I am so sorry to hear of your injuries. I had no idea until last night. I can't believe what happened to you, and I didn't know. After the last A Moto last weekend and the storm coming in we left. No news came of your crash till last night. I do hope that you are doing better. Sounds like a bad one for you. Take care dear "FRIEND". Kristin also told me that Mitch Lehman was in a very bad motocycle wreck. She saidy that he is still in the hospital. I do not have any more information that that. From what Kris said was that some one was messing with him after a night at a club and they were responsible for his crash. Mitch get well soon!

~ PLEASURE VALLEY RACEWAY, SEPTEMBER 21, 2011 ~** A few days have past since PVR on Sunday. It was very good to see so many good friends and watching some great racing. It's always good to go to a big event like Loretta's and its always good to come home. The day held some good moments for me. Jerry and I got there alittle late and missed the first couple moto's. The first moto of the 250A was going off the gate. I was hurring up getting to a good position and coming thru the tunnel ran into a bright smile from a familar face. This face I haven't seen at local races for a long time. I remember this face way back in 1997 at Brownsville racing and taking my breath away with such talent. It didn't take much for me to get hooked waching him race. Aaron was in awe of his riding, he would be at the fence watching his every moto. As time continued this rider went right to the top with his remarkable talent. Aaron would have loved being at Steel City when he won that National. So good to see Broc Hepler at PVR cheering on his good friend Joey. Seeing his big smile and getting a hug took me back quite a few years. Thank you Broc for so many good memories. It was also very good to see Ashlee Woskob back on a bike and riding well. Mike McDade out in the A Classes after his riding at Unidilla and becoming a new father to a beautiful baby boy.
